Nearshore vs. Offshore Development Why Nearshore?Most companies considering offshoring their software development work are concerned about cost savings as their first priority. analyst Datamonitor, “nearshore” is
the new offshore, with UK outsourcers favouring the former Eastern bloc
countries, as opposed to traditional countries such as India. The report,
called “Profiting from Eastern Nearshore Outsourcing”, claims
that UK companies are increasingly looking to countries such as the Czech
Republic, Latvia and other Baltic Countries. These countries have a highly
